Helping Local Teachers

Updated: Jul 17

As summer winds down, our dedicated teachers are gearing up for another school year. With Amazon Prime Days happening today and tomorrow, it's the perfect time to support our local educators by fulfilling their back-to-school wishlists.

Many of you may not know that my college degree is in education. I wanted to be a teacher from the time I started school right up to when I started student teaching in college 😂 Ironically, both of my sisters are teachers and lots of my friends are also in education. I've seen firsthand the dedication and hard work that goes into preparing for a new school year.

Teachers often spend their own money to ensure their classrooms are well-equipped for their students. This is especially tough for Florida teachers who rank 50th in teacher pay. To help lighten their load, I've gathered links to wishlists from some of our local teachers. By purchasing even a few items, you can make a significant impact on their classrooms and students.

Teacher Wishlists

Why It Matters

Supporting teachers not only helps them provide essential supplies for their students but also shows appreciation for their hard work and dedication. These wishlists include everything from basic supplies like pencils and paper to educational games and books that enrich the learning experience.

Amazon Prime Days

With Amazon Prime Days today and tomorrow (July 16 and 17), it's the ideal time to take advantage of great deals while supporting our local educators. Prime members can find discounts on a wide range of items, making it easier to purchase more for less.

Final Thoughts

Let's come together as a community to support our local teachers. Since I don't have a student going back to school this year I'm dedicating what I would have spent to helping out some local teachers. Whether you can contribute a little or a lot, every bit helps.

Thank you for supporting our educators and helping make this school year a success!

And please share this post with friends, family, and anyone who might want to support our local teachers. Together, we can make a big difference!
